Why do I need to enter my password to view the folio?

You need to provide your password to be able to decrypt the folio since every document is encrypted when the sender uploads it. Our goal is to protect your sensitive documents from unauthorized access at all times.

Only assigned signatories and the sender have access and are able to decrypt the folio with a special key. This key is encrypted peer-to-peer using a secret value that is only known to a signatory and a sender.
